Chaos Cup All-time Stats, 2017 - Part Only

For the past couple years I've done this preview for the Chaos Cup.  I somehow deleted all my old records and don't feel like recalculating everything from before.  Here is some basic information.

This year's Chaos Cup is the weekend after Labor Day weekend, only one team can reign supreme.  One team will taste the glory.  One coach will hoist the prestigious Chaos Cup.  Will it be you?  The Blood Bowl world turns their sights on Chicagoland and the 2017 Chaos Cup. (Gen-Con-Schmen-Con :D)  Will Europe take home another US Major victory?  Will a US coach bring the win back to native shores?  Or will a Canadian take the title north of the border? Chaoscup.com has all the information on the tournament you’ll ever need.  For the next few post we will be breaking down the results section to show a bit more in-depth breakdown of the statistics of the US Major.

We’re using the results tab from the Chaos Cup website.  The results from 2003 do not include racial break downs and are being excluded from lists where that information is used.  The results from 2016 weren't updated on the site so this is pulled from Facebook.

Here we go... again...sort of.

Chaos Cup 2016, Somebody Guess Something

Chaos Cup 2016 is coming up fast!  I'm going to continue with a tradition that began last year.

I'm going to make Racial, picks for this years awards:

-  1st:  Dwarves
-  2nd:  Undead
-  3rd:  Norse
-  Best D: Chaos Dwarf
-  Best O:  Skaven
-  Brutal:  Pact
-  I Am Chaos:  Chaos
-  Stunty Cup:  Halflings
-  Wooden Spoon:  Human

Here are my guesses from 2015 and the results.

-  1st:  Dark Elves (Norse)
-  2nd:  Amazons (Dwarf)
-  3rd:  Chaos Dwarfs (Amazon)
-  Best D:  Undead (Chaos Dwarf)
-  Best O:  Skaven (Skaven) +1
-  Brutal:  Dwarfs (Human and Halflings)
-  I Am Chaos:  Pact (Chaos)
-  Stunty Cup:  Halflings (Halfling) +1
-  Wooden Spoon:  Ogres (High Elf)

2/9 better than I thought I'd do!

I had a contest set-up for this last year and no one took me up on it; so this year... nothing... Unless someone actually responds... then I'll give 'em something...

Chaos Cup All-time Stats, 2016 part 6

This Labor Day weekend, only one team can reign supreme.  One team will take taste the glory.  One coach will hoist the prestigious Chaos Cup.  Will it be you?  The Blood Bowl world turns their sights on Chicagoland and the 2016 Chaos Cup.  Will Europe take home another US Major victory?  Will a US coach bring the win back to native shores?  Or will a Canadian take the title north of the border? Chaoscup.com has all the information on the tournament.

We’re using the results tab from the NAF website.

In 2014 the torch was passed to Katie Muzik to be the leader of the Chaos Cup Committee.  2015 was her first full year running the event.

Part 6

This is the top 3 players in the 2010's.  These coaches have played in all 6 Chaos Cups that have been held so far this decade.  The 2010 event had 5 games while each subsequent tournament has had 6 games for a total of 35 games.  Other players have performed well but either didn't attend all 6 events, didn't play all the games, or didn't quite do well enough.

1.  Grither - Bryan Tew, Champion in 2014, 24 wins, 4 losses, 7 ties
2.  Delevus - Matt Vanderby, Champion in 2010, 21 wins, 6 losses, 8 ties
3.  Father_Gailus - Aron Wisneski, 19 wins, 10 losses, 6 ties
